The Madagascar Palm is famous for its stunning shape and versatility as a garden plant or indoors. In pots plants will remain compact, in gardens they will grow rapidly into stunning specimens to 2 or 3 metres. Plants will stay solitary but when cut will form branches. Large white frangipani type flowers appear in summer. In very cold climates they may defoliate in winter.
