Zebrina is a compact grower with short fat stems. Magniflora has the largest flowers of the group and can be 5-6cm across and appear over the warmer months. This species belongs to the Stapeliad or Starfish Flower group, they are soft-bodied succulents that can easily be damaged or rot, care must be taken with handling and watering.
POSITIONING - full sun or partial shade, preferably under cover. Indoors only near windows.
WATERING - regularly over the growing period from spring to autumn but it is essential to allow the mix to dry between waterings.
FEEDING - 25% of recommended dosage monthly in the growing period. the less food, the better the shape of the plant. Fertilisers high in nitrogen can reduce flowering period.
