Also called the 'Active Flypaper' (Flypaper Plant) and by one author referred to as the 'Mean Green Fungus Gnat Eating Machine'. Pinguicula are an unusual form of carnivorous plant with leaves covered in very fine sticky hairs that act like a flypaper catching very small insects. Flowering will occur over the warmer months. They will tolerate the cold with some plants forming much smaller rosettes in Winter.
LIGHT - Any protected positions outdoors in moderate light; indoors in well-lit positions. also does well in terrariums and under artificial light.
WATER - Keep moist but not soggy.
