This is a miniature medicinal herb found in central Asia. It grows into a miniature palm tree and is ideally suited for terrariums and indoor gardens. Plants grow 10-15cm tall and are considered annuals but can be kept for many years indoors. Biophytum will react to touch and slowly close up when disturbed or in the evenings. Biophytum is slow growing and will produce masses of flower and seeds once mature.
POSITION - Indoors in any well lit position or under artificial light to keep their nice shape. Flowering will only occur in good light. Best in terrariums or closed environments where humidity is higher. They will not survive winter in cold climates.
Comes in a 50mm square nursery pot.
